Instapundit notes that White House Senior advisor David Axlerod said yesterday on ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulus that President Obama has not ruled out raising taxes on the middle-class, but the President had already ruled out middle-class tax increases in a campaign speech he made in Dover, New Hampshire.

The left has a term it likes to use for when a Democratic candidate makes a campaign promise that he fails to keep:“Change You Can Believe In.”
