Danny,

I think both sides need to refrain from making hyperbolic charges like "corrupt" and "war criminal" against one another.

Our enemies pick up on these statements and exploit them for their own nefarious ends.

It is fair to point out what policies you disagree with and why you disagree with them, but questioning motives is out of bounds.

I assume by MSM you mean the mainstream media?

To the extent they supported the left's slander campaign against Mr. Bush, they are to be condemned for it.

However, if the right now does the same, it loses the moral highground while at the same time undermining the country.

I think we all need to be more grown up about this stuff.

The Paul Begalas, Keith Olbermans, Michael Savages and Ann Coulters of the world are paid on a pay-per-attack basis. They have a vested interest in being nasty, mean-spirited and extremely partisan.

We don't!

Maybe not the most corrupt but they are definitely trying to be. With his background, was this a surprise to anyone.

pdx,

I don't agree with that.

The fact that many of Obama's appointees have had tax problems highlights two things:

1. Possible poor judgment of the Obama team vetters; and

2. The absurd complexity of the tax code.

It is not evidence that the Obama administration is corrupt.

Over the last 8 years, the left, in its intense loathing of George Bush (the smirk, the walk, the nicknames, the vacations) used these kinds of labels to marginalize him and all who agreed with him.

I think it hurt the country.

Let's not do the same.
