President Obama Announces Googol Dollar Bailout of U.S. Automotive Industry (Says He Loves Cars).

April 1st, 2009 · No Comments

President Barrack Obama speaking today before a raucous crowd of United States Auto Workers said,

I know a googol is a lot of Benjamins, but we gotta save the auto industry no matter what the cost.

By golly, America invented the car?

The slogan ain’t “baseball, apple pie and Mitsubishi.

A source close to Obama said the President is anxious to push the bailout through Congress so he can get back to March Madness, the Tonight Show, giggling with Steve Kroft and playing some street ball with his pals.

Senator Bill S. Pender (R-NV) applauded the President and said he expected the spending bill to sail through Congress:

Whats a googol amongst friends?

I mean it’s not like America’s gonna go bankrupt in my lifetime.

An ebullient union member wearing a Che T-Shirt and toting an Obama “Yes We Can” plackard summed up the sentiments of the crowd,

I felt a tinglin’ sensation go up my leg.

It’s about time we had a Prez with the stones to be a real patriot.

It would be downright un-American if I lost my cushy union job.

Where else could I make $50 an hour for mopping the floor, get 4 rest breaks a day, an hour and a half lunch break, 6 weeks vacation, 8 personal days, 22 sick days, maternity leave, paternity leave, eternity leave and serendipity leave?

Treasury Secretary Timmy “Turbo Tax” Geithner who will be in charge of accounting for the bailout funds immediately reassured the public:

American citizens need not worry.

I will monitor the auto companies’ use of the bailout funds as closely as I monitor the preparation and filing of my own tax return.

The Chairman and CEO of Toyota, S.I. Fujikawa, mocked the proposal saying,

これらのアメリカ人は私に笑いを長い時間する。 おかしく、おかしく、おかしい車の人々。 私達はいかに戦争を失ったか。
(These clazy amelicans make me raugh rong time. Sirry, sirry car people. How we rooze big pacific war?)
