McClure on Left

Larry McClure of the race team, Morgan-McClure Motorsports, will plead guilty to tax fraud in exchange for the dismissal of other fraud charges the Orlando Sentinel reported today:

[Assistant Attorney Randy] Ramseyer says McClure will plead guilty to three counts of filing false tax returns and two counts of obstructing the investigation.

McClure faces a maximum of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine on each count.

McClure has agreed to pay more than $60,000.00 of back taxes as restitution.

What is it with these race-car guys?

Could it be that life isn’t exciting enough for them and they have to mess with the IRS  to spike their adrenaline?
