We were watching the show at the Hayden Planetarium when suddenly it stopped and the lights came on. There was an announcement over the loud speaker that "the President has been shot". It went on to say that the Planetarium was closing and we all had to go home. Do you remember where you were when Nixon resigned? Great analogy at the end. After watching these clips, I guess I am one of those sentimental types. But I believe so much more was lost by that action the the innocence of humans. How different this country would be today had he lived and continued through his term not to mention beyond. I thought I was the history nut around here?
